HOW TO GET TO SALERNO
Reach Salerno by car
- From Rome: From the A1 highway to Caserta take the A30 highway (Caserta-Salerno) or continue to Naples and take the A3 highway (Naples-Salerno);
- From Naples: take the A3 motorway (Naples-Salerno) or the A16 motorway to Bari and then the A30 motorway (Caserta-Salerno);
- From the South: Take the A3 motorway (Salerno-Reggio Calabria).

Reach Salerno by plane
The closest international airport is Naples Capodichino. Once you arrive, you will need to use one of the means listed below to cover the last leg of the journey.
From the airport you can take a bus for € 3 (called Alibus) to Naples Central Station, reaching Salerno by train. It also stops on Piazza Municipio, near the port, from which you can take the bus (SITA) in 5 minutes on foot.
You can buy the ticket on the Alibus, and you can walk right out of the airport terminal to the bus stop which is less than 20 meters from the airport terminal exit.
From Naples airport there is a SITA bus that takes you directly to Salerno (Euro 7). This route is only performed 4 times a day, and not on Sunday. You have to walk about 300 meters to reach the bus.
